over the past twelve years we have pushed for women’s empowerment. Yes, a brand dedicated to the celebration and promotion of great dads wants to empower women. Why? First, every great dad has amazing women in his life whether it be their mother, spouse, sister or daughter that he cares deeply about. second, the legacy of teaching our kids and bringing to the forefront the importance of empowering and protecting women.

From locations across the US to as far as Pakistan, India, South Africa, Belgium, and Israel, fodada has provided these free self-defense classes on behalf of dads everywhere who care deeply about the incredible women in their lives and want to impress upon their children the importance of empowering others.

In collaboration with fodada, MyPwr will offer a free link to the app for all who register for the 12th annual fodada International Women’s Self-Defense Day.
The MyPwr App is a digital classroom offering a comprehensive range of Empowerment Self Defense (ESD) lessons that cover all the necessary skills and principles taught in traditional ESD classes. Using a range of multimedia formats, the MyPwr App caters to all types of learners. Moreover, the App has a supportive virtual community, a resource center, and an extensive library of instructional videos, making it an all-in-one platform for ESD education. ESD is a comprehensive, trauma-informed, and pro-active approach to violence prevention and resistance education that emphasizes awareness and assertiveness skills in addition to verbal and physical strategies. All the strategies are easy to learn and highly effective in preventing or ending an assault. ESD classes are designed to empower students and build their confidence. Using the 5 key components of Think, Yell, Run, Fight, Tell, ESD seeks to reduce and eliminate cases of interpersonal violence.
