Working With Dads In The Prison System

In 2015, we launched a landmark partnership with the Oregon Department of Corrections to pilot a specialized version of the fodada “Dad and Me” program. Our goal was to create meaningful interaction opportunities for incarcerated fathers and their children. That inaugural year began with a dedicated group of fathers and kids who paved the way, committing themselves to the program and culminating in our first collaborative camp. What started as a pilot became a vital chapter in our mission to strengthen family bonds, regardless of the circumstances.
